Hi
Sally asked about photo of Tibetan iris, and as
Jan Clark pointed out
it is almost sure Iris decora .
It is a very beautiful iris with blue/violet flower, and roots like a
Daylily,
I grow this Iris in top of my rockbed in full sun , and in pure sand, In
this location one must not forgot to water in dry periods.
The plants I have comes from seed , which takes from 3-5 years from sowing
to flowering.
It is completely hardy as to my experience, sadly the flower only last for
few hours.
