Yesterday when Walter Moores listed SKUNK GREASE on the list of 'food' irises, I got really excited. I have been looking for that iris for some time. Unfortunately he does not grow it. He suggested I ask you great folks on THE list.
Does anyone stateside grow this one and be willing to share/trade?
SKUNK GREASE - C. Wyatt - 1978 - TB - Ruffled blue-white self. Beard tipped blue.
It appears from the R&I that it was registered, but never introduced??
Dell in Plano, Texas - where it rained today after 53 days of dry, 99+degree weather.
(Thank goodness it is accompanied by cooler temps, and is forecasted to stay cooler (low/mid 90's) thru the weekend)
