SPU: help given
From: "Donald Eaves" <donald@eastland.net>
Hello Folks,
Thanks for all the info sent last week on handling the newly
arrived spurias. I have bad experiences with plants left even
a day or two in plastic bags, so was a bit jumpy. As usual
when info comes forth from this list, there appear to be several
equally successful methods for storing or keeping rhizomes
for a few days or more. All got potted by last Sunday and
the growth has been phenomenal. Today even one which
appeared to be completely dormant popped up out of the
pot. On those which showed signs of already having started
growth, the new growth can be measured in inches - and in
only 6 days or less! Very rewarding.
