Lloyd - The caption on the photo says Maiden Bloom 1998. I tried
sending it to you offlist as an attachment to an email message, but I
don't know if that will work for you, so here's my attempt at describing
it:
Standards peach buff with edges blending to purple at the upper edges.
Looks like the midrib of the standards might be purple also. Standards
are closed. Falls are solid reddish purple, ruffled, not much flared, a
bit of lace. Beard and throat look bronze in the picture, but that area
of the flower is shadowed so it's hard to tell. Mike Lowe, if you are
"listening", is the photo true to color or ?
Anyway, it's basically a buff and purple bicolor, fairly old fashioned
form (which of course, is why I like it).
