Woooowhooo!
Walking out in the "L" seedling patch and
found an IB x IB cross blooming. This is it's maiden bloom so who knows
what the future will hold but....... Four falls, fours standards on 3 of
the seven flowers (the other four were "normal") . Standards are
white falls are mid blue with splashes and streaks of white. Yes, a broken
color, four fall/standard reblooming IB x IB cross! My guess is that would
be classified as a novelty. :-) AMERICAN PATRIOT X AMERICAN
PATRIOT. Inbreeding does some strange things.
