Heather,

I had an opportunity to choose an LA rhizome as my premium for my winnings
at the local iris show this spring (June here), and as LA's are nearly the
only major class of irises of which I have not yet tried growing a single
specimen and I have recently completed my new, plastic-lined acid bog bed,
I took it. Not wishing to do things by halves, I chose not just an LA, but
an Australian-bred LA (not a Pryor creation, but then perhaps you would not
feel comfortable reading about the perils endured by one of your "children"
in an alien and potentially hostile environment over the coming months -
assuming we are all here beyond 01-01-00). It is Taylor's SPANISH BALLET
that I hope will put down roots and make itself at home here.

Regards,
