Hi
I see there is no code for iris stamp collecting but I was wondering if anyone else collects irises on stamps.
I have iris stamps from over 200 countries and have tried to group them into some sort of classification, but this is quite difficult as some are not easy to recognize and some are clearly mis-labelled. For example, does anyone know how to classify I. odaensanensis which grows wild in S. Korea?

Regarding mislabeling, I witnessed an exchange with former Sen. Albert Gore, now vice-president, and who knows what next?
Sen. Gore was at a voters forum at the Jonesborough, TN, courthouse and a mountain man in bib overhauls had a pressing problem. "What's wrong with the guvmint putting out this honeybee stamp and putting the bee on a red clover? Ever'body knows bees cain't work red clover. They tongues ain't long enough."
Sen. Gore smiled and several others chuckled, and in an attempt to mollify the man, he said, "Perhaps the bee was just resting."
As the chuckles died away, the man stood up again, his face redder than the clover. "Ever'body knows bees don't rest," he said.
