No such luck. It's raining hard now and the wind speed is starting to
increase. We are predicted to have 6-8 inches of rain tonight and tomorrow
in central Virginia, and winds 40-50 mph, with gusts to 65 mph. We expect
to be without electricity from sometime tomorrow morning until as late as
Sunday. There is some indication of an eastward shift in the hurricane's
path--bad news for eastern Virginia but it may bring some reduction in
damage for us.
