If you will go to the World Iris Society webpage at
http://www.worldiris.com
and click to enter the Historical Iris Preservation Society (HIPS) website
from the main page, you will find photos of both Rameses and Dauntless. I
think you will agree after looking at them that while Dauntless may be
described as red (in iris terms), that is not a fitting characterization
for Rameses.
