After rooting around in the archives, I can't find much on I.
kashmiriana , new for me this year. Posts say it is a 2n=48
Mediterranean species with lemon fragrance that has poor cold, wet
winter tolerance. Lowell Baumunk and Winterberry Gardens (where mine
came from), both with cold wet winters, offer it for sale. Another post
from Canada mentions it as part of Bruce ?s greenhouse collection of
iris species. And there is another post that had a long list of species
including this entry:
> KASHMIRIANA, KASHMIR, WELCH
So I'm curious if anybody can tell me more about this critter?
