	Several years ago Dave Niswonger sent me some spurias, and 
it was too hot and dry to plant at the time.  He had included a note 
in the package that the spurias could be refrigerated.  I kept them 
in the fridge unwrapped for about two weeks before planting them.  
They did fine.  I would check on the dampness of the wrapping 
paper from time to time just to make sure the paper and the 
rhizomes don't dry out.
