Stack Dump.

It's computer terminology that dates back a couple of decades.  It doesn't
really mean forgetfulness in this case, it means (roughly) dumping all data in
the memory stack due to an overload.  Intermediate in nature between software
and hardware.

I use it to describe wetware failures encountered by those of us whose rhizomes
reside in their catalogues... or in their garages.

Tracy Kidder has a better, more accurate (and humorous) description in 'The Soul
of a New Machine'.

Neither of our names could be good names for an iris introduction (IMHO), but
they are shorter than 'Momentous Occasion'. ;-)
