re: caudiciform book

I recently read somewhere a review of a new book on caudiciform succulent plants but cannot for the life of me find it. If anyone has read of the same and can send me the details I'd be very happy. I find caudiciform plants quite enthralling and have a few as pot plants for my Medit garden. Nolina is a pretty common pot plant here abouts and is also found fairly often in older gardens as a specimen plant but the rest are pretty much rarities and curiosities kept in captivity by collectors of cacti and succulents. This year I've bought small sedlings of Adenium obesum, Sinningia luecotricha, Ficus ? and a small tree like plant with curling papery 'bark', ash type leaves and a swollen trunk. They are fairly easy pot plants for Medit conditions and will stand outside under a sunny verandah year round so long as frost doesn't come. O/W a little more winter protection might be needed. I found those kinds that are summer dormant are the easiest to grow in our conditions. Winter dormant plants definitely need greenhouse protection from rain and probably warmer temps to prosper. I'm only a beginner with these and haven't yet tried any of the plants with swollen roots which, when exposed, look quite interesting. I don't want to get overburdened with these plants but I am going to add a few more to our porch displays.
