Cali - OK, H. Cocker one more Limey who didn't know his Loquats from
his loquacity.... Your description certainly makes it seem
mouth-watering - and that's even without benefit of the liquor
produced from its seed (? 'kernel' was Cocker's word: maybe he didn't
know his kernels from his seeds, either - clearly a man who lived a
sheltered life...!).
It's offered by quite a few UK nurseries (even one in Scotland, though
one notorious/famous for the risks it takes with hardiness) but I
wonder if it fruits here? Does anyone on the list know? Dave? Paul?
Too much wet and not enough heat here, perhaps, for us to see it at
its best?
