Leptospermum.
In New Zeland a teatree would be only a Leptospermum, but we more
commonly know these by the Maori name of Manuka (which name is also used
for the oil).
I do also have an ancient bottle of Australian Tea tree oil apparently
extracted from Melaleuca.
