The Encyclopedia of Plants and Animals in Israel does not list any of the species of
Paracaryum as being native to Israel.
In addition the latest edition of Cultivated Plants in Israel does not list the plant either.
Inasmuch as I am involved in several projects of introducing more native plants into
local garden usage and have not come across this plant, my conclusion is that it does
not exist in Israel.
