I see no South Australian has commented on this, but from my family's
experience the situation in Adelaide is very similar. There are sea
winds at cooler parts of the year, but in summer drying winds from the
hot desert centre of Australia sear the land and lift temperatures to 40
degrees C or higher. I have never myself been in Adelaide at that time
of year and certainly have no desire to try it. in spring, though it has
a very nice climate.
