Fantasy Folks:
This was a thread on another gardening site two years ago, and there were so
many responses we even had a reunion after the year was up! My fantasy was
of the eclectic sort: I wanted bits of gardens I had seen over my lifetime,
including the peacocks I admired in Laguna Gloria (Austin, late 1980's-don't
know if they're still there.) Someone criticised my fantasy, alas, and said
peacocks "shriek like old women being murdered"....Kind of puts a damper on a
fantasy, doesn't it?
