Dear Seán,
On 7 May we are having a meeting in nearby Franschhoek with the Chairman
of Botanical Society S.A., Etienne van Blerk. The idea is, as we have been
rather inactive for a couple of years, to form a larger branch thus
amalgamating a few surrounding towns within that branch. This would give
the branch a lot more support from the community, and hopefully this will
be the impetus for more activity.
We are hoping that the meeting will conjure up a lot of enthusiasm and
that monthly meetings or outings can be organised once more, - maybe even
reinstating our wild flower show!
We shall keep you informed as soon as we have something to report.
