Hi, Nan,

I love to put them in risotto. I shell them from the pod and throw them in boiling water for a few minutes. I then shell the "meat" of the beans out of their skin and throw them in my risotto towards the end. So good!

I think there must be some pesto and dip recipes for fava beans, too.

I don't think this is too much off topic at all! What's the point in gardening if you can't share ideas for after harvesting our rewards! I'd be interested in other recipes out there.
