Re: lavender Q

Hi Nan,

Both Lavandula canariensis and L. viridis are green. I'm sure you know
Canary Island lavender with it's ferny lime-green foliage and bright blue
flowers.
L. viridis, Green lavender, is one of my favorites. It looks like a large
version of a stoechas lavender, but upright with soft green foliage. The
flower spikes are pale green with tiny cream flowers. Has a strong
lavender/pine fragrance and is great to lay on the barbecue with fish. In
bloom now in my garden.
