I wish I had your problems - to a degree. South African sages melt in my subtropical North Carolina garden, especially during rainy summers. Many of them form a multiplicity of short stolons, and the dense basal growth promotes rotting, since this impedes air drainage. Does anyone have this problem with Salvia muirii, which is much more compact?
