| Thank you to everyone who directed me to HelpMeFind roses. My dilemma now, is finding someone who sells one of these Beatrice varieties. I don't see that included in Helpmefind. Am I missing it? Or is that information missing from the entry? By the way, the rose is to be an 80th birthday present for a dear family friend named (what else) Beatrice (we all call her Bea). She is an amazing lady and fantastic artist who, for her 80th birthday, has organized her first painting and woodcut retrospective. Over her lifetime, Bea has painted more than 100 portraits of her friends and family (she did one of my husband me, and our chlidren when they were small) and given them as gifts. For her retrospective, she traveled up and down California, gathering paintings. There are more than 100 of them hung in a gallery not far from Griffith Park in Los Angeles. Bea has chronicled all of this in a blog that includes images of her paintings. If you are interested, go to Bea is also an avid gardener and master gardener. In the 26 years I've known her, she has been a tremendous inspiration to me. We are going to see Bea's show this coming weekend and can't wait. I hope I have a great rose for her! Thanks for helping!
