[medit-plants] Re: Lotusland/La Mortella

That's so cool that you are coming!
And that you agree with comparing the two gardens (huh, might be an interesting talk).

So looking forward to again visiting beautiful La Mortella in the future (perhaps next year?)

Best regards,

Ciao Sean!

I have been there many years ago, I had only recently met Susana and I had the same feeling, that the two gardens could be compared. I would love to go back and see how the garden has developed; I remember may corners of the garden that really looked very familiar!

Yes I am planning to come to the AGM, I am going to reserve airplane tickets this week.

BEst,

Alessandra

(I thought this was the proper place to have this 'personal' conversation)

Deborah and I were discussing the Lotusland garden (http://www.lotusland.org/) the other day - it is on the pre-AGM itinerary for the 2017 Mediterranean Garden Society meeting in Southern California.  We were trying to think of what garden to compare it to.

We decided that La Mortella (http://www.lamortella.org/en/) was a good comparison - both gardens created by strong, unique women of vision!

Have you been to Lotusland?  Do you plan to come to California this fall?
