I grew Sophora while I was in Palm Springs, CA. The plants were very slow to
establish and flower, but once they got going they were wonderful. Seems
like it took about 5 years for them to get going.
We planted several plants here in Albuquerque, NM last summer. We dropped
down to -2*F in the open and 3*F where the plants were. The Silver Peso did
great. One of two green clones died.
