Re: Your input on lavenders

Hi Jan,

I love all lavenders but here in Oakland (Sunset zone 17) have had really good
results w/ L. stoachas. It grows well, doesn't seem to mind the foggy summers
nor in well drained soils the wet winter. It does seem to sulk in clay soils.
It reseeds prolifically which is great for my gardens but worries me some
because of all the problems in Ca. with escaped exotics...
