Re: California freeway "wildflowers"


Well, you could have a "center divider" like we do here between the
cities of Seaside and Marina that is at least 200 ft wide in some
places( divides northbound and southbound traffic).For some reason
someone owns a part of this ( strange they just push sand around there
) and there is a place where there is a line of Eucalypts across it.
Further down towards my city, Marina, there is a very nice and fairly
tall Monterey Cypress that cal trans trims to keep its crown in check (
the divider is only maybe 10 feet wide) strangely i dont see many tall
things in the dividers areound Monterey. Mostly its all iceplant, and
coyote bush. Ive only seen oleanders within the santa cruz county line
area and even then theres not many of them.
