Yeah, it started in the night and went on all day, some of the windiest I have seen
here in Boulder Creek in 7 years! Usually we are pretty protected from the wind
 here in the San Lorenzo valley.
I was going to spend the day in the garden, instead spent it picking up branches.... 
kept hearing cracking from
branches and trees coming down all day, must admit it makes me nervous!
 Plus we have very large douglas fir
and redwoods all around us. Then we went to Santa Cruz and it poured. 
Came home via Bonny Doon and it
was very cold up there.  I heard from a friend that  it hailed and snowed up 
on Bear Creek Road. It is also very
cold here. It seems like very odd spring weather we are having around
 here (for around here!) more like
mid/sourh/west weather....
Radio says it will be windy again tomorrow. Seems most of the wind is up in the 
trees, so hopefully the
plants won't take the brunt of it...
