The form of flowering of Euc's is quite different to Melaleuca
Melaleuca's set flower directly along the stem in clusters like little
sausages
Euc buds form on peduncles (stems) in somewhat ovoid clusters with each bud
separated.
Melaleuca's to my mind are more closely related to Calistemon than Euc's
although all are in the same Family.
