My big problem with invasive non-natives is what happens when the current
owner of one of these ticking bombs retires or gets sick and can't continue
the care, or dies and the place is vacant for months or years - and the new
owners don't have a clue about plants, just don't care, or even think the
rampant growth is "natural" and beautiful - I know it's a worst-case
scenario, but what else is new ?? It would be different if people had to
clean it up or take it with them when they left, but that's an impossibility
.....
