Tasmania has an Aotus too. As far as I know, it is classified as a
small shrub, belonging to the Leguminose family, containing 10 species.
Heath like leaves arranged in whorls around the stem, flowers yellow.
The W Aussie A gracillima has yellow flowers too, grown inside here and
the flowers are so plentiful, they cover the leaves.
Is it possible that she was placing Tasmania as part of New Zealand? A
common mistake!
In Tasmania, we are having a grand Autumn. There are trees that I have
planted for their colour in Autumn and they have greeted Winter with a
whimper in other years and are now reminding me why I planted them.
Coolness is in the air but the weather is still mild.
Tim, I have been to the Monros garden and loved it. You may be
