Given good drainage, the straight species is damaged only slightly at
minus 5C and seems capable of withstanding minus 7C for short periods.
The variegated form is nearly as hardy remaining undamaged at minus 3C
and easily surviving the minor damage at minus 5C. Helichrysum
'Limelight' is undamaged at minus 3C, suffers quite severe damage at
minus 5C and may not survive.
