The funny thing is that here in Australia we have miles and miles of
pinus radiata plantations! P. radiata is from, you guessed it, the US!
We grow it for cheap timber. Its very invasive. Perhaps we could do
a big swap-a-roony. Our pines for your eucs.

p.s. some eucalyptus species make very good fire wood.
