Paul: Sorry to hear you were in cyber hell for a week. I was wondering why
I didn't hear anything from your quarter when I tossed the salvia question
into the arena. Any other magenta salvias? Or any magenta-flowering medit
plants, for that matter. I'll have you know I was convinced by the
discussion here about Lychnis coronaria to dig up some plants very
surrupticiously from a business' parking lot over the week-end. I had been
on the fence about bringing this multiplier into my garden -- you know how
it is with a known spreader that you like -- so if I regret it someday I can
blame it on you guys. I put the lychnis between the salvia involucrata and
a Balkan pine (P. heldreichii "compacta"). Does anyone know where s.
involucrata originates from?
