It isn't my plant Tim.  I caught a whiff of it late last winter and
remarked surprise myself.  Of others I've talked to, most say it isn't
scented, but some say it is.  I'm trying to get hold of some cuttings
- if I succeed and get them rooted, one is yours natch!  As far as PBR
is concerned, there are just a few too many reports of scented ones to
warrant this.  Unlike a certain chappy 'hijacking' an established
variety of Canna, I have no wish to profit in such a way.  If I
personally raise something of worth, then that's different.
