Hostas

In my zone 9 I grow hostas successfully because they are in the shade all the time and they get 10 min. of drip water every day except in the cold, rainy season. We rarely have a frost.Everyone said I could not grow them but under these circumstances they have been a success. They are planted on hostile soil, too.
