No rabbits here except in hutches and no deer at all. The goats and 
sheeps view the roadside agaves - A. americana and A. angustifolia - as 
too formidable to tangle with and some plant the latter as hedges to keep 
stray animals out of their yards. 

Aloe barbadensis (A. vera) appears to be too resinous or viscous for 
their liking.
