finding Seriphium plumosum?

I have a Seriphium plumosum (formerly known as Stoebe plumosa), a South African shrubby perennial known in Afrikaans as slangbos, that has met with some radical pruning from untrained hands and does not look like it will be staying with us. I had found this plant at a Long's Drugs on 51st Street (obviously brokered without anyone knowing what it was) and have not been able to find it again, anywhere, since. I was really enjoying the texture and color. Anyone of you know where I may be able to find this interesting plant or perhaps know if I should continue to wait (perhaps till the fall rains) for it to revive.
