Hello: You might try the Theodore Payne foundation nursery. Here is the link to their hours and locations. They specialize in California natives, which are certainly mediterranean! I have never been, but if you go, I would like to know what you think. I think this is close to Pasadena, but I could be wrong. Karrie Reid
