In the Nicholson garden I have been able to eradicate it entirely
with this strategy, but next door it has been allowed to spread
unchecked, so there is a constant danger of reinfection.
This is exactly true in North Carolina as well, but I have to keep an
eye out here for bulbils rather than seeds on Allium vineale (wild
garlic). The method I previously described will fairly rapidly
remove most of its biomass and let you catch a breathing spell, but
wont eradicate it.
