I have to admit I'm not sure exactly what method my source used to deliver
the urine to his plants--I didn't really want to know too much! :)
It wouldn't surprise me if there is a gender difference here--I seem to
remember that female dog urine is more likely to leave yellow spots on lawns
than male's.

I haven't used the urine treatment for verticillium, but have used it to
good effect on powdery mildew on my roses. My Gram always maintained that
only men's "contribution" works--not sure why--so that's how we do it around
here. The boys apply directly to the ground and lower leaves--no diluting or
spraying. Not sure I like the roses quite that much!
