Re: No dead heading roses

Thanks, Bill. Sounds like roses I could use. I wonder if you could tell me about how big they get without pruning? Or do you prune for size?
Thanks,

At the moment on one of my pergolas there are at least 60 blooms of 'Crepescule', a climbing Noisette - apricot blend. This is the third time that the rose has bloomed this year. There will be another flush in the fall. And I have never had to deadhead a single one. I rarely water or fertilize it.
The other glory is 'Souvenir de Mme Leonie Viennot' a climbing Tea. Long blooming and drops its old petals without help.Bill Grant, Aptos
