I have good success with growing Dwarf Lavender Munstead from seed. I
picked up some on my last trip to England. I use no special preparation. I
grow some eight or so varieties in the garden, and all easily propogate by
either self seeding (which has been a problem) or by cuttings.
I planted a Wisteria sinensis about 4 years ago and it is slowly spreading
over my arbor, which is about the same width as yours, but only about 20
meters long. I have only a single plant and it now covers about 4 meters.
This is OK since I have the rest of the arbor in grape.
I chose W. sinensis over W. floribunda because it presents a more
spectacular, but shorter, bloom period.
