Evergreen huckleberry (Vaccinium ovatum) is a small-leaved plant with
delicious blue berries and reddish new leaves. It grows from British
Columbia to Oregon, and perhaps further south. It is clipped to form high
hedges between campsites in Oregon - for instance at the Oregon dune
campsites, and on the blustery peninsula at Cape Blanco.
It grows well in shade.
