Chionanthus retusus & Albizia julibrissin

I grew both these trees long ago in another garden in Palos Verdes along
the Southern California coast. Although the albizia bloomed modestly,
the Fringe tree did not. I was told they were both heat loving trees,
needing good summer heat to perform. I notice many profuse bloomers here
in gardens in our inland valleys.

Not to feel too bad; they are both attractive trees in form as well as
foliage.
