Seaweed Extract
To All:
The thread on seaweed is very interesting, but frustrating for those of us
inlanders.
A long time ago (late 70s), when I lived in New England, I bought some
containers of Maxicrop, a seaweed extract concentrate from Meadowbrook Herb
Garden in Wyoming, Rhode Island, run at the time by Heinz Groetzke. It was
made or distributed somewhere in Connecticut.
Does anyone know if it is still available? With the cancellations of
pesticides by the EPA, we may be forced to use whatever means remaining to
control pests. Besides, seaweed extract is a useful foliar fertilizer.
