This plant is very common around the Puget Sound area, and is listed as a
noxious weed here. Many people still grow it for it's amazing inflorescence
(I do not so don't call the plant police!) but I've seen the dermatitis it
produces and it's nasty. I'd say that anyone who is tempted should at least
be conscientious and cut off the flower stalk before the seeds can mature
and get all over the place.
