Sometimes, for no apparent reason, someone takes exception to what another
correspondent has said and starts a slanging match. This may occasionally
encourage others to take sides until a veritable war of words developes and
people may write things which they will later regret.. It has sometimes caused
gentler souls to withdraw from a list.
I think it is one of the lovely things about the Med group that we don't seem
to generate such unpleasant and unwarrented agro.
