Apparently it is the result of work carried out by Ken Hill and Lawrie
Johnson at the National Herbarium of New South Wales. Much of it
makes sense and probably should have been carried out years ago since
the 'Bloodwoods' which are all now within Corymbia, are sufficiently
distinct to warrant different treatment.

Well, I can understand most of these since a basic, common
characteristic appears to be the fact that the flowers are produced in
terminal umbels and axilliary umbels. Maybe they ought to now look at
some of the 'mallees' such as E. rhodantha, surely these might benefit
from a bit of reclassification as well.
