 Hmm... so maybe there aren't more full-sun flowering plants in the world,
just in the trade.  If that is the case, perhaps it's because of the
suburban tendency to have few trees and lots of sunny lawn (which can be
planted with shrubs and flowerbeds, thus increasing the demand for full-sun
species to choose from).
